nat is a fifth-generation Angeleno and a first-generation college graduate.  She studied English Literature at UCLA and, upon graduating summa cum laude, immersed herself in the city’s literary scene—from managing Book Soup to earning a fellowship at the prestigious LA Review of Books’ publishing workshop. In addition to her interior design and merchandising work at Miracle Mile Toys & Gifts, she coordinates and runs art workshops and community-building workshops after-hours at Chevalier’s, LA’s oldest indie bookstore. An artist working in print media, Nat leads zine workshops all around the city, drawing upon her decade of teaching experience and passion for tangible art.

conor is a classical pianist and lifelong musician from the nation's capital. After earning his degree with honors from Tufts University in Boston, he began working for Mbira.org in Berkeley, CA—a non-profit “devoted to the traditional music of Zimbabwe.” Conor’s studies in music and ethnomusicology inspired him to start his own small music business, offering performance and education services . As a passionate craftsman and outdoors enthusiast, Conor moved to Los Angeles to pursue the arts and music of Southern California. After touring briefly with an indie-rock band, and working on a few homegrown film sets in production and the arts department, he met the love of his life working at a bookstore in West Hollywood. Conor’s interests in the arts and small business inspired him to pursue opening a space of his own with an independent spirit and culture driven atmosphere.
